Today, version 1.6c was released on Steam and it's more than a month ago now that version 1.6b has been made available there, yet the GOG team still only offers version 1.6a.
In general I really like GOG and their DRM-free policy and I'd rather buy here than on Steam. But the experience with Parkitect on GOG has been subpar so far: No workshop items, super-delayed updates. Come on GOG, at least try harder and release minor updates more quickly.
Don't get me wrong, I don't regret getting the game here. I'd rather have some inconveniences than being tied to customer hostile DRM, but those inconveniences add up.
The game itself is great and I just love it. I spent many more hours here than in Planet Coaster. Kudos to the Parkitect team! I'm always amazed at what they deliver with such a small team. And also many thanks to the modding crowd! Luckily, there are some ways to get Steam workshop items into the GOG version, but it's tedious.
Still, please GOG, reconsider your update strategy!
