So I played the campaign all weekend and managed to get "Gold" on like the first 7 scenarios.
Overall really fun and addictive game. I really like the added ware delivery management aspect an how it forces me to actually worry about dealing with scenery (I never bothered about that in RCT, since it wasn't visible enough in what way that helped).
So far there's only one thing I like less than in RCT and that is building coasters. In particular, I'm annoyed that I have to set the tilt level myself. I feels rather annoying, because I have no clue when to start tilting, how long the tile should be, how high the tilt level should be, etc.
I know I can add display of the G forces, but first of all I first need to build a tile before I can see if it's okay and second even if I set it's marked "red", I have no clue why.
It would be cool if there was some assistant that automatically sets the tilt level to the best possible value for those like me who don't want to bother with it.
Another thing I'd like to see is an "All" option in the research. So it's like RCT style where you get new inventions in a fixed order fitting to the current scenario.
Also one more thing that would be cool would be if I could select what decorations exactly I want to research. That's mainly because I like placing premade rollercoasters with scenery already included, because I find some of them really beautiful and fitting to the scenario, but often it shows me that I haven't researched a certain decoration yet that it includes. For example in the Western scenario there are some cool western-themed coaster already, however they also include decoration from "middle ages" which is not researched in that scenario. Just trying to get it researched can take years ingame time. It generally doesn't seem to be worth researching decorations if you can't say which one you want.
By the way when I tried researching decorations once, I got a Haunted House instead! Does that count as decoration? It's shown in the gentle ride tab though.
That's all of my impressions from playing all weekend.
Thank you for this awesome game. It even made it in my top 10 games of 2018 list!
