Okay, so be careful if you've played the game a couple of times and are speeding through it.
I had a guy show up on Day 30, last person. They were an asylum seeker without a passport, so I first interrogated them, then clicked the prompt for fingerprints (in case they did have their passport and I would need them, it happens occasionally). Well, they did not have a passport, so I denied the temporary slip (with a reason) and started handing back paperwork to them. Since some of their paperwork was still on that desk, I also threw them the fingerprint paper in my hurry. After they get their stuff back, they exited left. My desk cleared of the official copy of the fingerprints. An invisible person gave me their fingerprints, "Here," and the game froze. It closed out a few seconds later.
I've actually done this scenario before, but it never crashed the game. However, none of those previous times was the asylum seeker the last person of the day. Since the day was supposed to end, but the fingerprinting stuff was going on, it crashed (I think). Before, the ghost would give me the fingerprints back, but would either disappear when I hit "Next" or... something else. I don't remember if the ghost has given me their fingerprints after I've hit next. That might also crash the game, IDK. I've just been amused by it previously, never too concerned about it until this time.
At any rate, if your last person of the day is seeking asylum and you have a reason to deny them without taking fingerprints first, don't do what I just did.

idk my computer specs, but I don't think that matters. I'll figure it out if it matters.
