I downloaded the Republia Times bonus feature for PC, it's an .exe file but when I double click it I get an error that Flash can't be initialized. I have Flash and it's up to date. Any ideas/any one else get this problem?
The game runs fine on the PC I'm running, which is some kind of Toshiba Windows 7 laptop I have through work. If you have the latest version of Flash, and it appears to be otherwise working correctly, I doubt the error is truly being caused by it. (Not to say the game doesn't require Flash.)

I had this problem; latest Flash version and neither Republia Times nor Six Degrees of Sabotage would work, until I realized I only had Flash Player "for Other Browsers" installed. As soon as I installed the "for Internet Explorer" version (AKA ActiveX version) it started working flawlessly.

I'm sure that will do it (I run Chrome) but I'll be damned if I'm messing with IE. I discovered I can play Republia Times on the developer's webpage, that'll be good enough for me. Thank you though.

You don't have to use IE for this; you can download it from chrome by going to get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/ and selecting your OS and explorer. This will net you the installer for the ActiveX version of Flash.

I'm assuming this works, but I never had the issue so I can't verify. If it does, a mod should turn this topic into question, and mark it solved.

Just ran into the same issue. This solution does indeed work.
