Well, this forum seems empty?

First question is, is the amount of expierence you can get in this game limited? I would kind of expect it in a game of this type, but I figuered I just ask.

Second question, is there anything on this game at all, like a comparison of the creatures or something? I find nothing searching the internet.

The Paper Sorcerer Mini-Guide and Artbook are coming SOON!

The XP is not limited, but the cell blocks (with the exception of one area) hold fixed encounters. To grind more you need to visit the catacombs, which are opened up by doing what the fellow in the strange house asks of you.

Get the full 1980's experience with this game: NO internet guides. >:3

But yeah, a mini-guide is coming soon. I would have appreciated a manual, actually, but you can't ask too much for a small calibre indie. :)

Check out the official forums on the dev's site and the Steam forums, there's a lot of info there. :)

That would be a good idea but I am getting a message that I cannot see more than the first page of the forums on the dev's site. I do not really want to log in with any of my 'social' accounts so I am not sure if I would get the same message if I were logged in via Google, etc. Guess I could set up a weebly account, but I am kind of reaching my limit on number of accounts I want to start in order to view nonproprietary game information, especially for a game I actually own.

Sorry for the mini rant. Anyone else running into this issue or solved it?

From what I can tell (since I haven't visited the dev site either), creatures tend to be what you'd expect by looking at them: enemies that appear to be poorly armored are in fact poorly armored; guys with big weapons tend to hit harder than ones with smaller weapons, etc, assuming that they're all roughly the same level, and creatures with a strong association to an element are sometimes healed by it (ice hounds as one example) rather than taking damage. That also fits the magic types: priest types tend to cast divine spells, etc.
from what I can tell while xp is not limited there does seem to be a level cap looks to be 50 at least in normal
Yes, level 50 is as high as you go. Curiously, the last 8 or so level seem to be fast tracked so that you're liable to level up every battle or two.

I went from level 42 to level 50 in 2 fights admittedly they where both big fights

You can fight enemies for extra XP in the Catacombs; there is also random treasure to find down there.

In fact, on 1980's mode, you are basically required to spend extra time leveling up down there, as the early bosses are *really* difficult. (In fact, apparently the first boss, which you fight before gaining access to the Catacombs, had to be toned down because it was too difficult.)

I'm guessing this never got released, huh? The Steam version is still stuck on the Chess bug. Hopefully maybe the dev will try to finish it? Last updated was in May.
