Is it just me or is this port not working very well for win7 64bit and 16:9 displays?

Everything seems in slow motion, this is especially terrible when scrolling the map. Mouse over takes seconds.

There seems no adaptation to newer screen resolutions making things look ugly and bloated, most fonts cannot be read.

Am I missing something? Some kind of config?

You are not alone with your problem. I have the same issue (slownes, resolution (fonts)) with my Win7 64bit and Windows 8.1.

Changing screen reslution or compability modes does not help. With my old computer running Vista 32bit everything were fine.

I have tried to find solution but not found one. Apparently no patches have been made to fix this. Funny that good old panzer general 2 runs perfectly with Win 7 or 8, 64bit...
