Hello,

is there anyone out there who knows the detailed format of the SHP-, STM- and other files from the original Panzer General 1 (DOS; SSI, 1994) and can and will tell me?
I am not looking for tools to work with the files; I really want to know the formats of those files.

There are still active Panzer General sites out there.

Usenet thread explaining some file formats, e.g. STM
Fred's Program Page offers programs to convert between .shp and .bmp files.
