Downloaded the mods Gog gives on the panzer elite page here on the website and copied the files to the panzer elite folder and installed the ostpack mod and after it has finished installing and I enter the mod enabler from gog and press enable mod I get this message:
access to an unnamed file was denied

sigh, tried to install this mod 2 years ago without success and now the gog.com version have problems too -.-
Cant gog.com just have the mod installed in the game from the start since no matter what I do I cant get it to start. AVP classics redux mode is way easier to install and make it work but panzer elite is damn impossible -.-
that error message indicates that a mod was not disabled correctly by the ModEnabler.

this sometimes happens if the player has changed or added new files to the root folder without first disabling mods.

In most cases it's much easier to create a fresh install of PE 1.2 and start from the beginning, than it is to find and remove the offending files that are preventing the ModEnabler from working.

Note: it always best practice to disable any mods before making changes
Okay, I will then uninstall and delete all Panzer elite files and mods I can find and then download the game again and start fresh from the start and see if the mods then works or not.
Installed the game and then installed the mod pack from gog in the default folder the gog downloader puts them in but still get an error message when I use the modtool to activate the mod -.- I give up.
i dont get an error message, but i never got the mods to work with the GoG edition either.
I also own the original Panzer Elite (big box, first edition), and the mods work fine with that one. It's definitely a GoG issue.. As usual
If you apply the PESE 1.2 patch, the JoWooD / Wings Simulation one, to GOG's PESE then you should have the same files as the two CD set..

If Snow/Night mod is one install, you have the original JoWood file. If Snow/Night has 4 seasonal/time installs, it is the Nordic Games version. The version can also be known by a help line at the bottom of the mod enabler window.

When Nordic purchased PESE, all that remained was PESE 1.1.

So what doesn't work?
