Short story:
I solved it by installing "media feature pack" for my windows home 10 N. This will solve the issue for many other games that will not show ingame fmv and cutscenes.
Long story:
First I thought that I had old driver for my gfx card so I updated it with no result. Then the GoG support team told me that I had an old card, Geforce gtx 1050 Ti, which is odd since it matches the card that is recommended for the game. So no problem was solved and I ignored it because I could still play the game.
Time went by until I played other game with same issue, no ingame cutscenes. So I realized that I needed to upgrade gfx card. I chose the best card that my motherboard could support, Geforce RTX 2060 for my board B85M-G. But to my disappointment I still got the same issue, no cutscenes was played in the game. My son told me to try Geforce experience since it automatically optimizes the game settings for best results. But I got another problem, Geforce experience couldn't show ingame overlay which I needed to monitor the gfx card. Good thing is that Geforce experience showed me that my windows lacked "media feature pack". So began the journey to install media feature pack for window.
I could not install it, should be under settings/apps/apps and features, then add features button. But I didn't have that button. I began to search google for all that was related to media feature pack. I installed manually all KBxxxxxxx_x64.msu that was available with no result. Minutes at google became hours, hours became days, then weeks and months. So I decided to install windows 10 pro. But before that I took a look at apps and features and there it was! The button to add features. I could add media feature pack. Now everything works, Geforce experience overlay and all the missing ingame cutscenes was played. No need to install windows 10 pro. Now I'm playing the heck out of all my games.
So in conclusion, add media feature pack. If your windows don't allow it. Install the KBxxxxxxx that will give you that option. You can't install media feature pack manually. I've tried that and it didn't work. It needs to be installed via windows add features button.
GoG is best, love old games and remakes.
Edit:
I don't know how it could have been, I guess it's because of the time that went by. I totally ignored or forgot that I actually sent GoG support team an issue that I installed media feature pack. Might thought that it worked at that time.
