cogadh: Well, there is definitely blood in it, and it is not green. I haven't got the stake gun yet, but I think it is safe to assume it will work as advertised, since the GOG guys keep talking about how cathartic it is to use over in the general forum.

BTW, is it weird if I own the game and buy it again here just so I won't have to have the DVD inserted?

Not at all weird. I've done it myself with a couple of games already.

cogadh: I'll let you know when I finish installing it. What was cut from the edited version of the game?

Belua: The blood was either cut out completely or changed to green, I'm not sure. And I think you couldn't pin the enemies to the wall using the stake gun. Don't know how much else was cut.

Here are the differences between the two versions. :)
