Was trying to mod Painkiller Black so I renamed the Painkiller.exe to Painkiller.exe.bak so I wouldn't overwrite it, but when I changed it back to exe now Windows 10 says it's protected and won't let me delete or edit it in any way so it's stuck on my pc. Going into properties doesn't work either. Any ideas?

Try removing it with a program called "Unlocker".
