So I thought the game was moving a bit slowly, so I reset the water effects to low, annnd then the game crashed, and now I can't access it at all, I hit the "Run" button on my 3DAnalyze device, and now the game won't startup anymore... any suggestions?

I would back up my saves first thing as it sounds like you may have to reinstall. Make sure you have the latest video driver update.
What OS are you running? What CPU, intel or AMD? What video card? It would help for me to know before trying to give advice . . . =)
