Trying to play the Black Edition, but it will go as far as a black screen, then fail with the topic message. Running Windows 10 Home ed 64 bit, Intel Core i3-6100 CPU @ 3.70Ghz / 6GB RAM. I've tried a clean install with and without Galaxy, and I've tried all compatibility modes (as well as trying the compatibility troubleshooter).

Anyone else having issues?

EDIT: To add insult to injury, my Steam copy of 2007's Painkiller Overdose runs just fine.

Look up the Ultimate Painkiller Community Patch, Version RC3 by "LucYfer". I got it from a Steam Guide for the Painkiller Black Edition and it works for the pc I am using. I am also on Windows 10 (64 bit). Other specs include an intel i5, and 8gb ram. Note that I do not need to run compatibility mode to get the game running. Hope this helps. This was tested using the Painkiller Black Edition from Steam, but it should also work with the GOG version. Good luck!

EDIT: After playing the Painkiller Black Edition today (first time for me playing it on GOG) I noticed that my performance was better on Steam. My frame rate would constantly stutter with the GOG version even with the patch I mentioned. I am going to reinstall it and hope for the best.
