O.K., I recently brought painkiller and it all went swimmingly until yesterday.
First, I tried installing Battle out of Hell, which kept asking me to swap disks when the installation was 95% complete, causing the setup to fail. So I stopped trying to install it.
Then, I installed the 1.62 patch, after which Painkiller didn't work. I'm not sure which of the two caused the failure, but now it doesn't work.
So, I then removed the patch and deleted it (partly to try and reverse the failure, partly to not have to unlock all Tarot cards to unlock trauma difficulty).
Now, it doesn't run, whenever I try to run it, a light blue screen shows up and I get the "painkiller has encountered an error" message.
Can I get some help, please?
