I've been trying some bookmarks and links online, and all of the big fansites seem to be up for sale. Does anyone know if they have been moved or exist in some other form? They had some great content that now seems lost.

I'm not familiar with any of the old ones since they're before my time, but when Geocities closed, a lot of fansites of all varieties went with it. Alternatively, the admins may not have paid the bills :(

Ah, I missed that one. Thanks for the help, I've been going for a play through on my new rig and I've been looking for a place to help get me re-acquainted with the game.

I had a link to this site at it's old address, the painkiller for real image gallery for the game locations is neat, and it has some good articles for new gamers. Thanks a bunch, I thought the site had died, but it just moved.
