I managed to get past Guadalcanal with only 1/2 dozen crashes. After the canal, I can't proceed. If the game does not lock up within the purchasing and upgrading menu, then the game crashes when I try to place the submarine.

Pacific General is completely unplayable on this computer. No refund or game help in sight.

It's a great game, when it works. I used to play the original constantly.
