Well it seems I am defeated. I have tried to do all I can play the game but it keeps crashing on the computers turn at odd times. Replaying turns, just playing scenarios, trying to adjust compatibility, reinstalling the game in different folders, and other stuff just doesn't work.

it's a shame as I have fond memories of playing the game. i looked for different fixes here in the forum and other sites. but time and computer advances are stopping me.
