Hi All,

Very interested in picking up Overlord, however, I caught the note regarding the support for the Intel Integrated Chipset. Considering this game was released in 2007, I was hoping that perhaps this integration issue is not relevant with a new machine.

I am running an I3 Intel HD Integrated Graphics on a laptop...installed new driver on 8/9/12. My laptop is only a year or so old. All Direct X, Direct 3D and texture acceleration are perfect.

Does anyone happen to know whether the Integrated Graphics compatibility issue mentioned on the DL page pertains to all inegrated chip sets? Or given that the version I have is 5 years newer than when the game was released, do you think it may be safe to give it a whirl?

Many thanks in advance for any help as I would love to pick this up!

I happen to have a laptop with Intel Core 3i HD graphics at hand (Windows 7 32bit) and installed Overlord to check it out for you.
Using the game's default configuration, it runs! No crash, so I'd say, yes, you can pick it despite the requirement note.

Thanks a ton DeMignon! You are a god among mortals... Much appreciated!
Think nothing of it. It was easy for me, but almost impossible to confirm on the Internet whether it works or not. Have fun ;-)
