Any chance of a getting a co-op mode? That's what my kid and I like the best about D3, that we could play the storyline together. Since it's already got multiplayer, seems like it should be trivial to allow others to join in on the regular game.

It sure would mean a lot to us! Awesome game in any case.

This is why Overload is NOT a new Descent like so many reviews state. Descent 2 had a wonderful co-op mode in 1996, and now a game from 2018 can't do it "easily" up until today in 2022?

Hint: Its easier if you design it with co-op in mind from the start.

So sadly, no co-op Overload for me and my friends, and no money from us for Revival.

Hint 2: None of us ever talks about our single player experiences back then, but our mutual multiplayer war stories are fervently told over a pint of ale at least once or twice a year.

Speaking for myself, it's absolutely a new Descent to me.

After all, what I remember fondly from Descent is the single-player experience; that's what I want from a successor to the series--and that's what I got in Overload, I would say. This is fair--each to their own! I'm happy with having bought my copy--but I won't gainsay your not buying something that doesn't offer what you're looking for.
