Hi, I recently purchased this and I been trying to get this to play on SteamDeck. I realize this might not ever be playable and it is a long shot, but I was hoping maybe someone here would be able to help or have the answers.

I can get the game to run on the steam deck, but the problem is there is no music, the sound effects work, but no music and the save/load screens etc all black screens and no cutscenes play. I know the SteamDeck is running Linux and Outlaws is a windows game from 1997 so I believe it can be played by wine/play on linux but I have never done anything on Linux and have no idea how to navigate it or get it working but I'm willing to try if this is possible.

My dad and I played this game when I was a kid and I introduced him to Steamdeck and we were both excited to see Outlaws on Steam/GoG but it's proving to be quite a task to get it running.

If there is any help or a solution to getting this game to run on SteamDeck that would be incredibly appreciated.

I don't own Steam Deck, hence I will probably not be able to help you, however I have a question: how did you install the game on the console?

I bought the game through the Steam Library and launched it from Steam like other games. Sorry for not seeing this sooner, I'm still struggling to get this fully working sadly :( I have tried these and sadly it hasn't worked :( maybe I'll try it again. The game still does auto updates when I turn the steam deck on so perhaps there is a way it will work eventually? Sorry for seeing this so late and replying months later.
