There simply is no "nudge" key. No matter what key I set it to, no matter if it's set to the default key of "space", I cannot "nudge" anything. Therefore I can not get the keys I need to open doors and the game is completely useless.

Any help would be appreciated. Can I change anything in the registry ? This is truly frustrating.

Try running the game as an administrator. If that doesn't help, try reading and following the directions that I gave in my second post here:

As far as I know, the nudge key is used to restart the mission if you get killed (or respawn in multiplayer). To get keys, you don't need to nudge but run over them. To use them, nothing else to do than using the "Use" key (I think it's Return by default) in front of a door to open it. You don't need to select a key in the inventory to use it.
