Is anyone else having trouble trying to load the game? Whenever I try to launch it just freezes the computer. I'm running Windows 7 64-bit.

Yeah, got same problem.
It actually forces me to dont save (much) so the music plays all the time.
Anyway I think it only stops the current song, so the game will start the next when it should (after the first one ended), also any form of resetting helps (save and load, start new, ... )
I finally got the game to load and yeah, I'm having the same music issue. Every time I press Esc to go back into Options to save it stops the music. The only way I can "fix" this is to reload the whole level.
Hope this gets corrected, the music is such a huge part of the atmosphere.
Same issue here. I found that if you load the game you just saved, it starts the music again.

HOWEVER- the menu takes like 5 seconds to appear after pressing ESC. That means ESC - 5 seconds - save game - back to game - ESC - 5 more seconds - load game.

Every time you save.

It sucks.

Does the game have a "quicksave" key?
Hi,
Actually i got the same problem BUT if you continue to play and wait 30 sec or 1min, the music continue :) I think, if my memory is good, that it was the same problem with the original version.
Try it !
Yep same issue here. The music doesn't play after a "Resume Game". Say you exit to the Options menu to fuss with something, then resume the game - the music is gone. In the original version the music picked right up.

As posted up thread restoring a save restores music properly. Luckily once you have the game configured to your liking there's not much need to exit the game *except* to save/reload, so it's not the biggest bug...

GOG uses nGlide which is a terrific Glide wrapper, but to get the intro and menus fullscreen I've been using DxGL and 'adding' the launcher and outlaws exe to the list.

NoxTM: Obviously the music was originally read from the CD, but I notice when I press 'Esc' in-game (to get to the menu) the music stops and won't reboot when resuming the level. Does anybody know of a way to get it to resume again, aside from quitting or progressing?
Who updated the game to read music from files? Was it GOG or Disney? If GOG, they can probably fix music issues. I don't have music playing in game altogether (in Wine).

If Gog.com got the music for these Disney games working, here's to hoping they can implement music into games that required CD-Audio like Total Annihilation ^^
Hopefully GoG is listening and will fix this ASAP.

The bug you're describing happens in ogg-winmm, the winmm wrapper included with most GoG games. So probably GoG. It's a open source wrapper, I have no idea if GoG has any programmers actually working on adapting it for per game fixes.

_inmm works (for the more technical users).

Yes, I already found out about winmm and that bug: https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=37983
