I keep reading about problems with the "software" mode and was curious if anyone has tried the D3D patch on this site. I used it with my retail versions (discs) and it worked fine. But I remain unsure whether this GOG version contains this already ? Or if it will solve any of the issues I've been reading about here.

By posting this link I hope I'm not breaking any rules, but just thought if it helps to fix the problems then it can't be all bad.


I'm speaking of the "D3D Updated" on the left hand side under The "Outlaws Drivers" section.

I installed the patch and now Outlaws doesnt run at all.

Without the patch the game runs but on the very first level I cant go into any buildings. As soon as I approach a door everything starts vibrating

GOGs version already includes the D3D patch.

Sorry to hear bradelli. I was just looking for possible answers to the problems I've been hearing about and I remember the patch doing wonders for my retail version. So far I've been too lazy to try anything myself. I've just resorted to playing my retail disc again until everything is sorted out. Thanks for the update Silver83, I was unaware of this, ergo the reason for my post.
