WARNING SPOILERS !!!!

Hello.
So. I got the steel key.
I got into the 1st house with the steel key.
I wwent up the stairs to the bedroom.
I opened the hidden door in the bedroom.
I killed the guy in the hidden room, and opened another door in the hidden rom.

This is where the problem starts.
I cant see anything in this 2nd hidden room.
I have jumped up, and on a ledge (I think), and I see and hear bullets wizzing by, and people telling me I am going to die, but everything is just orange. A dark orange, all 1 color, and thats all I can see.
I cant get back out of that room, or roam around in it, I cant see anybody, I cant do anything.
:(

Any help is appreciated.

This may sound like a silly question, but have you tried using the lamp? The default keybinding is L. I know this room is very dark, so maybe that is part of the problem. Otherwise, maybe posting a screenshot will help matters.

I am already past this real secret room, without going into it.
But, it WAS all orange, and then I used the windows key and alt+tab, and it went to all black, super duper black, like no gray at all, pitch black (I have another thread about this issue). I have had the pitch black issue in Blood 1 also, in 1 specific room, and using the flashlight or shooting also did not help at all.
I tried using the lamp, but it wouldnt work (it was a full lamp, just picked up. I dont seem to be able to use the lamp at all since I changed the key binding for it). :(

I may go back and try again though, if I can ever get the lamp to work.

Well, since I turned off Tinting (via olcfg.exe), I can now use the Lamp !!
Woohoo!
Can see in pitch black areas now!

Also, cant mark my own post as the solution.
