I'm stuck in Okasankaar. I can see other islands but can't get there. I tried swimming, that did not work out well.

There is a talan listed as Zidar (boatman) but there isn't any option to talk to him. I thought it had something to do with the boat light, so I fixed that but still nothing. It is weird that even if the NPC isn't game necessary I can still talk to them, with Zidar there isn't even that option.

Been really enjoying this game so please tell me I missed something simple.

I know this is a late reply, but both fishermen help you to getting to other islands. You have to talk to the other main NPC's in the town before the boatmen become accessible, especially concerning Zidar's case.
