Considering that releasing updates on GOG is a slower manual process where the GOG staff is involved we may have to wait a few days until we get a patch that gives us all the Steam updates at once. Sometimes devs neglect the GOG version when it comes to this but considering that we got version 1.1 almost as soon as Steam and how active the devs are with the patching I presume that we will see a patch very soon. No guarantees, though.
As always this has nothing to do with the devs but with the slow process of GOG uploading everything manually, I'm sure the patches won't be here before Monday or Tuesday. This has been a problem with almost every new game so I prefer buying games which are likely to be regularly patched on Steam now, as long as there is no change in the process here.

The game is from 1999. An you can not wait 2-3 days for a update??
GOG should already have received the 1.1.0.18707 version (changelog). Unfortunately it's weekend so I doubt well see it before monday.

"Always". In numerous cases it's been the devs who didn't supply GOG with a patch. Frankly I believe that that's the most common reason for missing / delayed patches on GOG.

When I installed Outcast 1.1, I noticed that there is no music. But when I look the game's directory, I don't see any music folders or files. Is the newer installer not installing the music properly? How can I make sure the music is still there?
