Hi lads,
As much as I like the much improved visibility compared to original Outcast, I really don't like the things "popping" up in front of me when I get in their vicinity. As far as I can remember, the reduced visibility in the original Outcast did prevent this to happen in such an obvious way (the "popping up" of houses, textures, objects and talans was hidden this way).
As I can't access the launcher ("Outcast1.1.exe has stopped working" - I have to start with "OC1.1.exe", thus I can't access the options menu) I tried to find an entry in the ini, but I'm not able to find something.
Is there a way to change a ini-value to either a.) get the fog back (reduce visibility) or b.) making things pop up far away?
