"I've noticed."
"You too, eh? It's like he has a vengeance against all crockery."
"No, it's just the large ones he breaks."
"So he's been at your place?"
"Yes. Earlier, as I was resting on my mat. He came into my room, looked like he was about to say something, and then he drew a weapon and fired upon the vase in the corner."
"The red one?"
"Yes, exactly. It split into many pieces."
"Just like that? Did he excuse himself or offer an explanation?"
"No. He left without a word."
"Same thing happened to me. He broke all my vases and left, Yods know for what reason."
"Some say he is paid by the potters, but I personally find that unlikely."
"How so?"
"Well, for one thing, he's been giving zorkins to the beggar in the construction block. Repeatedly. Same amount every time."
"That's generous, albeit odd."
"Besides, it's the Ulukai. We are not to question his ways."
"I still think he behaves strangely. He came up to me and started jumping up and down most vigorously before asking which bok he was in. I've seen him do that quite a few times in fact."
"Hmm."
"And he's been casting explosives into the well all day, so noone dares come close to it anymore."
"Hah, maybe he thought he saw a soldier jump in?"
"Hahaha. Yes, that must be it."
"Or maybe he's just tasted the lampe until his essence went sankra?"
"Hahahaha, that's sacrilege!"
"Hahaha, yes, well I have to move on. See you around."
"Likewise. I'm sure the shamaz will teach us the mystery of pottery once this is all over."
"Right, that, and the jumping. Good day to you."
Lol, nice dialogue :D
That's actually quite an accurate description of the city world (Talanzar?)

Also, anyone know why bullets travel so slowly on Adelpha? Is it because the atmosphere is thick?!
Now you made me laugh :)
Nice one froogger
:)

I've been meaning to write a similar thing about Legend Of Zelda games for ages... basically a diatribe against the vandalism of a young elfin boy in green, hellbent on destroying pottery and carefully pruned shrubs in search of rupees, arrows and hearts.
Thanks for the feedback.
Playing this I realized the absurdity of the situation - you're there to help them, not pillage and plunder, and yet they're so grateful! Zelda is a prime example of rampant destruction like this. The only game I can think of where NPCs don't tolerate this sort of behaviour is Ultima. Ultima 7 anyway, can't speak for the other ones. Homeowners would chew you out if they found you lounging around in their houses, knicking knickknacks.

doglikesparky: You do that. If nobody speaks up for these unfortunate Gorgons and their earthenware, a whole generation will grow up believing it's the right thing to do. The world needs to know!

The NPCs in the Gothic series behave similar and will kick the player out of their homes ;) Not in all cases, but in some. For stealing their stuff you always get troubles ;)
The posts here remind me of this little clip made by College Humor:

Baldur's Gate 2 you also got chewed out with some of the homes if you entered uninvited and Attacked to if you try to steal anything. Morrowwind was harsh on thieving to.
