I accidentaly shot a Twon-Ha in a battle with a armed Riss patrol. Now no one wants to help me, I cannot get ammo made and no one will give me directions to another Talan! Is there anyway to make them like me again?

One thing I didn't like was whatever the Talan said, I got the same speech options, and Cutter just talked as though nothing bad was said!

It's quite tough early on as you only have the KP-12P so you can't take on soldiers without quite a bit of ammo and with no ammo being made for you it's hard.

So I am assuming I will have to start again or go to an early save. But hope someone has a hint to make them feel good again! :)
Hm, never had such an event. And if you cange the region by Daoka, and then go back?

Otherwise, you could restart, and edit the outcast.ini in this way, that no civilian can be wounded. But make first a copy of the outcast.ini. Search the section

[Human]
CitizenDamage Scale 0.300000

change to 0.000000

If you come to Okaar later in the game, you should change it temporarily again to 0.300000, because the Oogoobar can't be killed then.

Anyway for the future:
the more saves you make, the better. Outcast still crashes sometimes unexpectedly ;)

Thanks for that Delgado - will try the ini change. After all I understand the hate if I had killed a Talan, but to get all this hate from killing a Twon-Ha owned by the soldiers and being used to distribute Riss to the soldiers that were oppressing the Talan struck me as a bit much.

When you also consider I have brought the healer to Illot to cure him, cleared the blocked temple and brought the Twon-Ha from the village to the Riss collector to the north and still no change!

Oh yes. I once shot a Talan, i am not sure if he was dead or only wounded. From that moment all the others ran away from me like from the devil ;-)

I am not sure, if your reputation will ever get better, when you are doing more good deals. I never waited so long, but reloaded.

Well, I am now playing from an earlier save, but now I have died twice in battles as I am always looking out for innocent Talan's that I might hit and get my reputation back to zero!

I would have thought all the good deeds I have done would make up for one Twon-Ha killed, so I now see the game as a bit lop-sided and you don't really have an evil option as a lot of the marketing said! +Rep by the way, for all the help! :)
