Greetings to you all Outcast gamers. You might noticed that on AMD machines especially all CPU´s Based on Phenom II or Athlon after 2010 that it has quiet some Render issues.
Especialy some parts of the map or screen are only rendered in partial quality stages.
On Intel Chipsets that problems doesnt actually occur.
It looks on AMD like Angles when you stay and just use mouselook where the next renderfilter apply.
This is probably due to the Fact that AMD just dropped the 3DNOW! extension which was a great Hardware accelerator for Graphics and sound data packages.
And because Outcasts Gaia engine is based on CPU Rendering... Guess whats causing the Problems ...
3Dnow was especially used for faster partial rendering and multiple Zones on the map or screen.
So my conclusion is that this bug is not solveable on our own sadly.
Of course there is Hope, cause the Second Contact (Crytek engine based) has no problems anymore.
I wonder if some Devs might spot this thread here, and maybe they have a statement to this. A fix will probably not occur due to the fact thats hardcore coding deep in the engine itself, and as far as i know Appeal stated that they lost their source code. Wow, not thats ashame but shit happens.
Its still remarkable that they managed to patch it once again and made the second contact. Thank you Developers for your great work. you are one of the 1337 out there, who are kind enough to remake their game in full quality and do alot of effort to make it happen. And that without Source code.

I Flagged this as a Question because i hope a Dev might give an Answer. Maybe a user knows a workaround but i dont think thats possible so easily.
