I have reinstalled the GOG version of Outcast 1.1 that removed about 4 years ago due to performance problems probably caused by the upgrade patches I had installed back then.

However, I am unable to locate where all the extras went, they are not in the download file in the GOG games folder nor in the x86 / GOG Galaxy / Outcast file neither, are thay in my windows downloads file.

Secondly, I have saves from when I last played which may or may not be compatible with the current GOG patched version I am assuming I cannot try out these saves until I have an in game save as that will created the folder If someone could tell me where the new save folder will be created that would be very helpful to me

I realize this is quite late, but...

Extras are downloaded separately from the game, but if you are using GOG Galaxy I believe they should download to the same place that the installer did. That's how it works on my computer, but I chose a download path at some point so that may have changed things. Your own settings may be different. In the worst case, you can re-download the extras without having to re-download the game itself. They're under the "backups and extras" menu in GOG Galaxy.

As for the save location, I'm actually not sure, as I just uninstalled the game after finishing it. But if you start a new game, make a save, then look in the game directory or your "My Documents" folder, you can probably find them.

I downloaded using Galaxy the game downloaded to GOG Galaxy / games folder but the extras did not go there maybe they just did not download at all.
Normally, if there are a lot of optional extras, I just download everything manually selecting only the extras I want using the backup option.

Thank you for the response, it was not too late as, although I had downloaded the game, I hadn't got to playing it yet, I decided to finish the game I was already playing first.
