The problem I am having with Outcast is that after the opening Bink video finishes playing I get dumped back to my desktop with the GOG icon in the start up tray on the lower right and the game does not start. I have to right click on the GOG icon to exit out so I am returned to my normal desktop settings. I have tried the OUTCASTP_V3 and the OutcastPatch4HD patches and have also tried running it with as an administrator, even though I have installed this game outside the default Program Files (x86) location but to no avail. Is anyone else having this problem and is there a solution?

I am running Windows 7 x64 with a AMD Radeon 6870 video card.

Maybe this thread may help you, too?

Edit: Wow, how did that happen? Didn't check it after posting... And I can't seem to fix it?!
Whatever... Just take Delgado's URL, it's working fine!

(Gog and the URLs ;-))
That did the trick :). I also loaded up the OUTCASTP_v3 patch so now it is running at 1280x720 and looks much better. Thanks for the tip :)
