Hi,i have the original 2 CD's version of the game and i would like to know if _Zenger_ can send the loader necessary to use the high resolution patch because i have 4 of them, and they just don't work, always give the message that is not the loader.exe expected, more details in the picture attached.

Looks like we're not worthy of the resolution patch, even though we're the ones who bought the original game which paid the developers back then.
Really this issue isn't solved, though we may know whats wrong, i suspect the gog version has some minor alteration like no more cd check, which i fine but what i don't understand is why Zenger decided to restrict his patch, it only limits it to those with the gog version while everyone else who comes along and might like to try it simply can't, how does he think that makes us feel?

I doupt he 'restrics' the patch in any way, he simply did the patch based on GOG version of the game (ie the one he has access to). It does not work with any other version because the exe's in them are different and he'd need access to all the different versions of the game to be able to make the patch compatible with them. This would most likely involve quite lot of work and someone would have to buy him all the different version of the game.

The patch looks like to only patch a few bytes. So it is not that much work addapt it to all versions of loader.exe out there. Also no need to buy all version, we would just need to send the different loader.exe to Zenger. AtomicJo and me did exactly like this for the Community patch 4 (Which Gog used without even crediting us). Here:

What GOG edition did the patch take nº 4 (not official) of Planet-Adelpha?
Is that true?
If it is true, my opinion of GOG changed (and not for better).
The minimal thing that they should have done is to show the merit of who is, because it is true that your patch was one month earlier realized.
I saw your patch, when I was already realizing the GOG analysis, so I couldn´t prove it.
I remain surprised with things like that.
Soon I will order you an e-mail (now OUTCAST-Spain have group in Facebook, with more than 190 fans of the original game & and with some Appeal members :O :D).
