Anyone encounter the problem of an unvisible notepad?
The only thing I can see are the writings of the regions. The entries are only audible.
Tried it with and without the resolution patch. No change at all. Seems strange to me because the lexicon and the rest of teh gui looks good.

WinXP SP3
directx 9.0c
Athlon 3500+
2GB RAM

I have the same problem.
I have used my old save games from original game.
Saves works but notepad is empty. Moreover lexicon is also empty.
When I start new game I can see notepad entries, but I don't want to start whole game from beginning.
And I can't play without notepad, because I simply don't remember tasks to do.
Did anybody had the same and know solution for this ?

The same here, on my PC. Im also using my old savegames from 10 years ago
