Just purchased Outcast from GOG and really enjoying it so far. I have just a small question: where do you get some of the other weapons, i.e. other than the basic pistol. I'm not asking for locations or anything like that, I just want a clue about how you acquire them, i.e. do you get them from enemies, from a merchant, as a reward for a quest or what?

Every weapon that you don't currently own can be bought in the city-region of Talanzaar. There are "Sacred Object" merchants selling them at outrageous prices. You can get your weapons upgraded in Talanzaar too, making them deal more damage or have a higher ammo capacity.

Note that the weapon prices fluctuate on how well you're liked. As you complete quests (and you become better known and better liked), the prices will drop lower. If you harm innocent Talan the prices will go up.

How do I pick up objects from the ground?
