This seems like it should be simple, but I can't figure it out, even after reading through the manual. How do I put whatever I am holding in my hand away so my hands are empty? For instance, the manual says not to walk around a town with my weapon out because it will frighten everyone, but then doesn't tell me how to put it away? I've only been able to select something else from my backpack, or using the gaamsaav, which then empties my hands after the game is saved.

Pressing "0" should work. A drawn weapon only seems to frighten people if you switch to the fight mode (i.e. pressing secondary action button).
