I just downloaded the game (1.1.6.19100, build 18970) and tried it out. It seems that the combat mode does not work properly. I hold down the right mouse button to enter aiming mode with a weapon drawn but the left mouse button doesn't fire it. The weapon indicator says it has ammo. The same thing for when you have no weapon; holding right button enters combat stance but you can't punch.
When not holding down the right-mouse-button, the left-button triggers the jump action.
I have been able to configure a key to perform the fire action but left mouse doesn't work.
I am running the game on Windows 10 and using a notebook with a built-in track pad.
I tried running the game as Administrator but this made no difference.

I wonder if the issue is the built-in track pad. Can it register both buttons being pressed at once? Do you have a USB mouse you can plug in and test just to see if that works? If it is your track pad then maybe there's a way around it in Windows settings or something.
I have confirmed it is the trackpad. While it will send a double-press event it doesn't raise a mousedown event for another button while a button is already held down. A normal mouse works. I'll cope.

Well, glad you figured it out at least. I guess you can rebind the control to another button.
