Could anyone reach that place where you are supposed to replace the broken light? I always fall when I try to climb/jump onto the final platform.

It apparently is a problem with modern computers. You can either use an external program to temporarily slow your computer down, which will enable you to jump directly onto the platform. Or you can use the cheat mentioned in the other thread, which lets you fly onto it.

Thanks. Finished the game yesterday without doing this, at least it wasn't a mandatory quest. Let's hope that Talans will interrogate remaining soldiers of Fae Rhan to find that damn light and install it themselves.

There is a very simple solution that doesn't involve a slow down program, cheating, or a patch. You just need to keep hitting the crouch button as you jump toward it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nid5yu1xBwY
