Is the Gog version of Othercide up to date with Steam's version? and what does the new 2.65 GB patch add?

If you browse the store page on Steam for Othercide, they specifically mention in the 'updates' area that the latest hotfix patch for the game is now available on both Steam and GOG. Post was from December 16th, 2021. Earlier posts detail the new DLC and patch notes.
