this is meant for the developer, as i can see from posts that that person is here. newer versions of windows(specially windows 10) struggles with opengl. examples of that is gangland(works well with direct 3d and badly with opengl) and doom 3(only supports opengl and crash after a few seconds). i fortunately have operating systems old enough to handle opengl but, those are not sold anymore. on my newer pcs i have to run in direct draw, since the game does not support direct 3d, which limits me to using the legacy version in windows 10. it is possible to have 2 renderers by including both direct 3d and opengl.
