Yesterday I bought the game because it rumours running fairly well under Linux (not to mention last weekend's promo). Frankly I haven't heard of the game before.
Running the first time and watching the intro movie I was astonished: the game's story is very similar to a sci-fi novel written by Wolfgang Jeschke.
After googling a bit, it turned out in fact it is freely based on the novel: The Last Day of Creation (in German: Der letzte Tag der Schöpfung).
I still own a paperback edition of the book (in Hungarian translation it's title is "A teremtés utolsó napja") and read it several times in the past 15 years.
Has anyone read the novel? If you're in interested in reading SF (including time-travelling) I highly recommend it. It has a thought-provoking storyline, lots of dialogues and action.
Cheers!
