Hi, I just bought this game and while it's great, it's very annoying to have repeated crashes to desktop each time I try to load a game after a mission failed notice. There are loads of error logs with the same message "AutoShutdown: Original War has taken too long to shutdown" on the Owarfull application.
I'm running XP with SP3, 1.5Gb RAM, 32Mb GeForce 420 Go and Athlon 2800XP. I'm running the newest set of drivers for the video card, ie newer than the game itself. Any ideas on how to solve this would be much appreciated.
The game indicates it's 1.10b from the error log.
EDIT: Solved I think. I switched the power options on my laptop to 'Always On' instead of Laptop mode. Perhaps the CPU cycling was causing problems.

That can safely be ignored. The AutoShutdown thread is designed to force OW to close if its taking too long. Its to prevent the game from Freezing if some of the threads refuse to close. It has nothing to do with any actual crashes.
