Hello there, everybody. For some reason I seem to be encountering heavy lag whenever I play the game, and yet all of my other GOG games and more recent games seem to have no issues at all in this regard. I've already tried lowering the resolution, but this really shouldn't be a problem considering the game is over a decade old now. I only encountered this when I updated my NVIDIA drivers, so I was wondering if anybody else has encountered this. I did a clean install too if that helps, might that have something to do with it as well?

Side Note: I even tried it again recently and no opening credits appeared... weird.

I got that way ago, when I tried running game on Windows 8 beta when it first came out. And It was not easy and I don't know how I made it work correctly, I just tried every possibly related thing I found on the Internet. After that heavy lagg remained only in sneak menu. I don't have this problem with this release, only some few others that the release brought. New patch was supposed to be out soon, let's just wait I guess. Or try the overrides of the current patch, maybe that will help you. They were mentioned in some other topic.
