Hello,
I just bought this game and I am having trouble with it.
This intro movie plays beautifully and the game seems to run great.
However, the game doesn't display anything as far as menus and game text (dialogue) are concerned.
I've got a black screen as soon as the intro movie is over. I can launch a new game by pressing 'Enter' repeatedly'. During the first dialogue, no text is displayed (only an empty box). Sometimes when pressing Esc, I got a glimpse of the menu for a very short time, but it disappears right away. I can also hear the sound when pressing arrow keys.
As I said before, once the game is launched, there are no display problems whatsoever.
I am playing this on an exotic configuration, which may not be supported : it's a Parallels Desktop XP SP3 virtual machine on a Macbook Pro (with Intel Iris graphics). This configuration works great for most games of the late 90s - early 00s.
Regardless of my configuration being supported or not, there may be simple graphical options that may make the game playable, but then again I can't configure anything without proper access to menus. Is there a way to edit the graphical settings prior to launching the game ?
Thanks in advance,
