Anyone have any knowledge as to when the DL will become available?

Jan 31st at 00:01 am ? or ?
Time zone?

(In the past I've seen games become available at midnight on release day east coast time but that doesn't appear to be the situation here)

9:20 am here in germany... thought it would start at least at 9:00am because in USA now is 31th....

So out of curiosity, I looked up Omerta on Steam and it says it will unlock in 9 hours from this moment which puts it at 1:00 pm East Coast (USA) time .

I wonder why they picked THAT time as the absolute release time?

GOG is based in Europe, so people are getting on their jobs, rigth now, but i don´t now if they dont need the released from steam... (so we must wait for more 8 hours) because they allways said the game need a third party install application...


PS: I´m ansious too... Hoping the soon release...

The strange is that in gameStop the game is already available to DL... i wonder if is that true??...

Amazon costumers already got their copy. Some on the 28th.

Grrr, I specifically bought from GOG because I wanted to support them (steam grinds my nerves and I hate that htey are the power house in online game purchasing atm)

But if I can get my software 1 or 2 days earlier thru another out fit like Amazon the choice become obvious at some point.

I want to support you GOG! But you gotta release your DLs at the same time as the big boys or people will just go back to them =/


And I just verified you are correct, Amazon is offering DL already.

I admit, only reason why I bought from GoG is because I wanted it to be cheaper (Steam screws over Europeans in pricing)... but looks like that's the only perk.
