I recommend not. Kalypso can be very hit and miss, and from what i recall playing this, it was very miss. You want a legitimate Gangsters game that I'm almost *certain* inspired this? Look up 'Gangsters: Organised Crime'. Much more enjoyable experience. The sequel of it sucked though, so be warned. I believe it's on sale here for about $6 too!

I've got "Omerta City of gangsters: Gold Edition" wishlisted. However, from what I can see of the screenshots, it seems to more closely resemble "Gangland", another mafia real-time strategy game, and up in the GOG catalog too.
