So I bought Omerta during the summer sales and have started playing. So far it seems quite fun.

I've only just gotten to the combat tutorial - so not that far - and already my Bullguard has twice informed me that Omerta is asking for access to the internet.

The question of course is: Why does Omerta want to go online? As far as I can tell I haven't attempted to do anything online in the game, so why does it feel the need to go online? What would it do?

Been playing for a few hours now, and it hasn't asked me more than the two times in the beginning.
Still though...
