Just purchased the con Artist DLC. Like other I think it ought to be free considering what was released as a game in the first place. But that aside I am very glad GoG is getting the DLC's and weather we like it or not that is the way things are going.

At least when we purchase DLC from GoG it does not have to be activated like other providers so it is ours to keep for as long as we want. For that alone it is well worth supporting.

Now I hope they release a DLC that makes the sandbox worth playing.

Regards MarkL
I've always wondered if we'd get a game here that would ever be given an average user rating below the 2-star mark and well, this dropped to the bottom fairly quickly lol (even if DLC technically doesn't count as a separate "game" per se)
This means Omerta was sold incomplete.
GOG should at least have said it was only the first part of the game.
GOG, in future contracts, you have to write editors have to give you the DLCs for free. As they won't agree, then okay don't sell those incomplete games.

It's only "the way things are going" because gamers put up with it - just like with DRM. If people finally said enough is enough and refused to buy DLC for a hit game and made it very clear that they weren't buying it because it was a rip-off, companies would stop doing DLC and go back to the old school expansions for games.

I'm sure the GoG price for DLC is the same as everywhere else, which means (just like everywhere else), it's over priced because you're getting very little new content while paying an extra 12.5% of the original price. This is why I don't buy DLC, because they give you very little for your money - the only DLC I get for games are when it's bundled with the Game of the Year edition or a "complete edition" sale on Steam.

Yes you are correct with these know value DLC's. I maybe a bit misguided with my support but I standby it this time.
The only DLC I think that has been god value that I have is from the original Borderlands. I am hope they put something worthwhile out for Skyrim to make a good GOTY edition.

I would like to express my distaste for the inclusion of DLC into this website. I'm sure this will be brushed aside and ignored much like in a grocery store when someone yells "I AINT NEVER COMIN HERE AGAIN" at the clerk. However as a somewhat heavy patron of this establishment I feel I should speak out against what this release represents.

Dear GOG.com. A great many people are upset that you going along with this. I am one of them.

Although I'll still purchase the classics offered here, I will no longer be buying your newer/indie titles.

Thanks for reading my complaint.
