Old World just patched to version 61443 and I cannot load any saved game. I don't get any error message either. It simply does nothing after I double-click on the game save files. I also tried using the Open button and nothing happened.

Has anyone else experienced the same issue? Any solution?

I played the regular version and used no mods at all, both before and after the update.

This is not a known issue. Go to discord, report your bug and upload your savegame file. That's your best chance to get this fixed soon.

I actually spoke to some devs on Discord and they found the issue, which was easy to resolve!

It turns out the problem was even bigger, it wasn't just about loading games, it was about starting new games as well.

They will look into solving it properly, but for now, if you can't start or load games, check the file "GameOptionsSave.xml" which should be in the following folder:

%USERPROFILE%\Documents\My Games\OldWorld

If you find this:

<language>-1</language>

change it to this:

<language>0</language>

(while the game isn't running).

This should fix it!

I apologize: We try to be present everywhere but it's hard to do and we've missed the GoG forums for a while.
