Hello, when I try to run the game it completely blacks out, I can hear sound and everything but I just can't the video to display.

I am running Win7 x64 with nVidia GTS 310M. i think its something about my monitor being widescreen or driver issues. i justhave no clue how to fix it, please help.

I'm having the same problem here. I tried to modify the shortcut in order to play the game with a wider screen resolution, but now it show me only the starting screen. I hear the sounds but nothing is visible, like if the image doesn't refresh. I tried to reinstall the game but is not working.

exactly what i did, too. and got the exact same result.

Even running through D3windower, it still won't "refresh"

This worked for me, I was having the same issue as you until I tried the solution at the link I provided.
